The educational pathway introduces high school students to the relationship between legal language and the terminology of inorganic and materials chemistry. Students explore how scientific terms used to describe materials, properties, and chemical processes appear in Italian legal texts, investigating whether their meanings remain unchanged or are adapted to legal contexts. Through lexical and semantic analysis using legal databases, participants examine the role of scientific knowledge in legislation concerning industry, environment, technology, and public safety. The project promotes both scientific and legal literacy, encourages critical reading of institutional documents, and fosters an interdisciplinary understanding of science and the humanities.
