Abstract
Compared to the past, present-day urban conditions appear rich in differentiation with regard to the times and ways in which the city is used. New forms and practices of encounter are affirmed through a plurality of ways of appropriation of the space, creating new parts of metropolis. At the same time new opportunities for socialization are created outside of consolidated urban spaces and assume different thicknesses until a dematerialization of physicalness is reached. This work, developed in the context of a broader research project carried out by a Convention between the CNR and the DPUU-University of Naples Federico II, aims at identifying the new elements and places that characterize urban environments created by present-day different forms of mobility, investigating characteristics and effects on the territory. New residential spaces, containers and multicontainers, networks and territories of control constitute the main places, object of this work, which can define new modalities of mobility in the contemporary city.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
