In this report, the grid generation around the ship hulls to be used by INSEAN in the CFD simulations for the EUCLID research project RTP 10.12 "Viscous incompressible flow at high Reynolds Number" will be described. All the grids were generated by means of a commercial grid generator named ICEM CFD ver.4.0. The two ships, chosen by the Consortium, are the NATO Research Vessel Alliance and the Dutch frigate De Ruyter. For both, the discrete models were generated for the bare hull and the fully appended hull. Given the complexity and the amount of geometrical details of the hull surfaces, all the meshes have a multi-block structured topology.
