In order to pursue the development and testing of different heating and cooling plants, ITC-CNR will create a trigeneration experimental facility inside an existing test building. The plant will consist of a microcogenerator and a solarcooling system (solar panels combined with absorption chiller), it will be modular and flexible and meet the energy demand for the production of domestic hot water, for summer air conditioning and winter heating.
