The realization of a polygeneration plant along with the installation of a solar cooling system in a experimental building gives the opportunity to test the energy efficiency and define an optimization methodology. The plant data about performances and operation are monitored by means of a data acquisition system: natural gas consumption and heating, cooling and electrical production can be observed in real time and analysed in order to determine the global plant efficiency.

Abstract
