This work shows data relative to the quality of sediments from five different sites chosen along Puglia coast, using biological tests. The use of a single species for a correct evaluation of the toxicity levels can be reductive, compared to the complexity of the ecosystems, so we have used three different organisms: two different Amphipods (Corophium insidiosum and Gammarus aequicauda), and bacterium Vibrio fischeri. Two of the five sites examined show effects connected to toxicity phenomena.

Abstract
This work shows data relative to the quality of sediments from five different sites chosen along Puglia coast, using biological tests. The use of a single species for a correct evaluation of the toxicity levels can be reductive, compared to the complexity of the ecosystems, so we have used three different organisms: two different Amphipods (Corophium insidiosum and Gammarus aequicauda), and bacterium Vibrio fischeri. Two of the five sites examined show effects connected to toxicity phenomena.File in questo prodotto:
