A sample of Fistularia commersonii (Fistularidae) (Rueppell, 1838) (SL 860 mm, TW 453 g) was caught along the Selinunte's coastal strip (the south-west coast of Sicily, Italy). The caught was made on 20 December 2004 by means of trammel net at 2 Km off the coast and at a depth of 18 meters.
