The aim of this paper is to propose an improvement of a method for the identification of the parameters of photovoltaic (PV) sources model. In a previously published paper the authors developed a single diode model in which characteristic parameters were estimated on the basis of solar radiation by using a robust least squares linear regression (LSR) parameter identification method. In this paper a more accurate temperature estimation is obtained, which includes the dependence on the wind speed. Moreover the dynamic behaviour, both in terms of thermal and electric constants, is considered. After the description of the adopted methodology a practical case of identification based on measured data is proposed.
