Abstract
The web is a social creation, where everyone could contribute to the knowledge, irrespectively from differences in culture, technology or abilities. Therefore any web site should be accessible, overcoming different abilities as well as supporting knowledge exporting and sharing. W3C develops guidelines to lead the web to its full potential. In this paper we firstly discuss new accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.0) and afterwards present the basic principles of the Semantic Web.
