Abstract
We consider the problem of source and content authentication in video streaming applications in multicast satellite networks. In this paper we pro-pose a novel method that combines digital signa-ture with watermarking techniques. The proposed approach does not introduce bandwidth overhead while the computational overhead introduced by digital signature is reduced using signature amor-tization by means of an hash chain. We develop an analytical treatment of the proposed approach, and present extensive simulation results that con-firm the quality of the proposal in enforcing a ro-bust authentication mechanism for video stream-ing broadcast over a lossy channel.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
