A new tool for the structural analysis of age-old masonry constructions is presented. It consists of the COMES-NOSA code for the static analysis of masonry solids, integrated by the GID-NOSA code, a pre- and post- processor suitably configured for COMES-NOSA. After a brief description of the constitutive model and the numerical methods implemented in COMES-NOSA, the analysis of the structural behaviour of a longitudinal wall of the church of San Pietro in Vinculis in Pisa is presented. The aim is to highlight the potential of this computational tool both in evaluating the safety of masonry monuments and guiding the choice of reinforcement operations.
