A new approach for moving grids problems in the framework of chimera methods will be described. The central issue of the method is a very efficient transfer of information between interpolation (chimera) points. This adds only a minimal overhead on the global computational time. As an application, the flow around a 2D cylinder moving with prescribed motion will be analyzed.

Abstract
