The standards about SW qualities are complete and oriented to every kind of SW products. The continuous increasing use of microprocessors as CNC in motion electrical drives has determined the development of specialized SW products that need specific tests to check and certify their fail-safe and fault tolerance capability, especially for critical integrity levels. Because an electrical drive works, generally, in a hazardous environment, the input signals should be corrupted by noise; so electrical drives software codes producers must improve the performances trough a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and a Software Quality Management (SQM). Inside the SQM plan, the code control is one of the most applicative field for a prenormative research activity.
