This chapter intends to review the state of the art of micro injection moulding for micro components, to highlight both the potential developments and research gaps of this process. Tool design principles, plastic materials and process parameters commonly reported in literature are critically reviewed towards the identification of the most effective processing conditions, given a specific application.
