Abstract
We review some recent results that have been obtainedin the investigation of collisionless reconnection intwo dimensional magnetic configurations with a strong guidefield in regimes of interest for laboratory plasmas. Firstwe adopt a two-fluid dissipationless plasma model wherethe plasma evolution is described by the advection of twoLagrangian invariant fields. Then, we show that an analogousformulation in terms of Lagrangian invariants appliesto the case where the electron response is obtained from adrift-kinetic model.File in questo prodotto:
