Dc transport properties of sintered samples of GdSr2RuCu2Oy have been investigated in the superconducting state, at temperature ranging between 4.2K and 40K. To understand the origin of dissipation mechanism in these materials, the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity has been analyzed at different bias currents. A thermally activated behavior has been clearly found in the Arrhenius plots of the data. The normalized critical current density as a function of the temperature has been also reported.

Abstract
Dc transport properties of sintered samples of GdSr2RuCu2Oy have been investigated in the superconducting state, at temperature ranging between 4.2K and 40K. To understand the origin of dissipation mechanism in these materials, the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity has been analyzed at different bias currents. A thermally activated behavior has been clearly found in the Arrhenius plots of the data. The normalized critical current density as a function of the temperature has been also reported.File in questo prodotto:
