The aim of this work is to evaluate the effect of a climate variation (over the last 50 years) and irrigation strategies on maize in an irrigated district of Southern Italy. Wateravailability was quantified by means of the Crop Water Stress Index, which accounts for the ratio between actual and potential evapotranspiration. The yield of some maizecultivars was examined at different CWSI values.

Abstract
The aim of this work is to evaluate the effect of a climate variation (over the last 50 years) and irrigation strategies on maize in an irrigated district of Southern Italy. Wateravailability was quantified by means of the Crop Water Stress Index, which accounts for the ratio between actual and potential evapotranspiration. The yield of some maizecultivars was examined at different CWSI values.File in questo prodotto:
