The Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder is an awful medical condition that damage the lives of approximately 7.2% of the children worldwide population. It is very detrimental because its symptoms of inattention and hyperactivity are often mistaken for rudeness or unwillingness. Children with ADHD, diagnosed or not, are likely to live in the loneliness, to receive a poor education, and they risk to become deviant teenagers, or unemployed adults. Parents and caregivers are often alone in the management of the disease, trying to take care of their child and to manage the manifestations of the ADHD at home, at school, and in the main life contexts of the child. The bad management of the ADHD provokes further costs for the health system and, more in general, for the whole society. One way to battle against the solitude is taking advantage of the strength of the interpersonal ties around the children with ADHD, and to maximize the competences of each member in the network. The WHAAM project aimed exactly to make networks and to promote a culture about some of the most effective strategies to manage the children's undesired behaviours. Its main target are parents, teachers, and health professionals who are daily involved in the fight to guarantee them a better quality of life. Based on the support of evidence-based practices, the application of powerful technologies, and well-established case study design, the WHAAM project offers an ICT-based solution where all the actors involved in the care of children with ADHD (aged 7-18) can join together and systematically observe the children's behaviours in order to better comprehend their meaning and plan appropriate, well-timed, and statistically consistent interventions. The WHAAM project is not only technology but education. For this reason, WHAAM provides for everyone an integrated service offering not only the application and information for its best use but also many educational resources such as a context driven framework, a training course, and a certified e-Learning module. Apart from the application, these latter represent the other main project outcomes aimed to spread to the world the power of the practical use of the Functional Behaviour Analysis principles, the Cognitive Behavioural strategies, and the multimodal treatments to face the ADHD. The main educational resources are aimed to be adaptable to both formal and informal learning outcomes, contributing to the lifelong learning of health professionals and everyone who is a motivated learner. The gateway to the WHAAM integrated service is the website https://app.whaamproject.eu. It provides users with free contents that will be enriched and updated also beyond the end of the project. In a long term perspective, the partnership intends to add new features to the WHAAM app in order to widen its scope and make it available also for other psychological disorders. The project website, containing further details about the activities carried out, is accessible at the following address: http://www.whaamproject.eu. The results achieved by the WHAAM project would not have been possible without the collaboration of many multidisciplinary and international expertise. The consortium was made up of five partners from Greece (AUTH), Ireland (TCD), Italy (ITD), Portugal (UAEI), and United Kingdom (ADDISS). Some partners have a high experience on advanced technologies applied to health management, while others have extensive expertise on teacher education and the delivery of e-Learning courses. Finally, one of the major worldwide association on ADHD has strongly supported every phase of the project and all aspects related to the ADHD, and behaviour management.
