CNTs grown by aerosol CVD has been studied by analytical tansmission electron microscopy to determine their structure and distribution of Fe catalyst. The CNTs have a multiwall structure and diameters in the range of 11-85 nm. Fe is found to locate at the NT tip as well as along the CNTs.
