Current methods of measuring postural stabilities, especially in children, involve either high-cost specialist apparatus that is unsuitable for use in non structured environments, or low cost but non-optimal observational measures. The release of Microsoft Kinect have provided commercially viable approach and hardware platform to capture 3D data in real-time. We here present a novel, inexpensive, practical but effective screening tool useful in medical diagnosis of postural disorders.

Abstract
