High molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GS), waxy proteins (Wx) and corresponding genes present in accessions of Triticum timopheevii ssp. timopheevii (cultivated), ssp. araraticum (wild) (2n=28, AtG) and related species T. militinae (2n=28, AtG), T. miguscovae (2n=42, AtGD), T.timonovum (2n=56, AtAtGG) and T. zhukovskyi (2n=42, AmAtG) have been analysed by one-dimensional electrophoretic separation (SDS-PAGE) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results permitted to associate different x-, -y-type glutenin subunits and waxy proteins to the different Glu-Al and Wx-1 loci.

Abstract
High molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GS), waxy proteins (Wx) and corresponding genes present in accessions of Triticum timopheevii ssp. timopheevii (cultivated), ssp. araraticum (wild) (2n=28, AtG) and related species T. militinae (2n=28, AtG), T. miguscovae (2n=42, AtGD), T.timonovum (2n=56, AtAtGG) and T. zhukovskyi (2n=42, AmAtG) have been analysed by one-dimensional electrophoretic separation (SDS-PAGE) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results permitted to associate different x-, -y-type glutenin subunits and waxy proteins to the different Glu-Al and Wx-1 loci.File in questo prodotto:
