Abstract

The correlation between attenuation from visibility and laser link has been demonstrated in case of radiation fog considering the urban site of Milan in our previous research. In this contribution, we look at the profiles of relative humidity and temperature to predict occurrence of heavy fog. Visibility and laser link measurements are averaged over different time windows in order to achieve the best correlation with relative humidity and temperature.
