The homoeology relationships of a Dasypyrum villosum (L.) Candargy chromosome added to Triticum turgidum var. durum were studied by biochemical and morphological analysis. Glutamate-oxaloacetate-transaminase (GOT) and phosphodiesterase (PDE) genes were localised on long and short chromosome arms, as well as genes affecting seed colour and rachis brittleness. Relations with the chromosomes of homoeologous group 3 of wheat are discussed.

Abstract
The homoeology relationships of a Dasypyrum villosum (L.) Candargy chromosome added to Triticum turgidum var. durum were studied by biochemical and morphological analysis. Glutamate-oxaloacetate-transaminase (GOT) and phosphodiesterase (PDE) genes were localised on long and short chromosome arms, as well as genes affecting seed colour and rachis brittleness. Relations with the chromosomes of homoeologous group 3 of wheat are discussed.File in questo prodotto:
