Ecotoxicological tests were performed using fresh and cryopreserved semen of sea bream (S.aurata, L. 1758, Perciformes, Sparidae). Sperm motility after 1h of incubation in metals (Cd, Cr, Pb) and pesticides (Azinphos-methyl, Chlorpyrifos-methyl, Pentachlorophenol) was evaluated. Cryopreserved semen showed sensitivity levels comparable or higher than the fresh one.
