Abstract
An experimental setup for the study of a laser induced bubble has been developed. Acquisitions with a high speed camera allow to obtain the investigation of the bubble dynamics. Pressure measurements of the shock waves originated at the breakdown and collapse are performed with a fiber optic hydrophone. y 0 = reference signal x c = minimum time w = peak width A = amplitude peak The main steps for the future work are: 1. the improvement of the hydrophone setup (as explained in the Hydrophone section), 2. the arrangement of an interferometry setup to obtain density/pressure measurements, 3. the improvement of the optical path to obtain a reduction of the energy losses and the "most spherical" bubble as possible, 4. micro-PIV of the flow surrounding the bubble.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
