The 15th International Workshop on Advanced Infrared Technology and Applications has been organized by the "Giorgio Ronchi" Foundation, the Institute of Applied Physics "Nello Carrara" (IFAC-CNR), the Construction Technologies Institute (ITC-CNR), the Institute of Information Science and Technologies "Alessandro Faedo" (ISTI-CNR) and the Biophysics Institute (IBF-CNR). The Workshop has taken place in Florence, Italy from 16 to 19 September 2019 in the beautiful setting of the Fuligno convent. The main aim of AITA is to assess the state of the art of the technology in the infrared bands and to present its most exciting applications, ranging from cultural heritage to biomedical applications, from environment protection to remote sensing, from non-destructive testing to advanced materials and sensors.
