One of the most important problems with energy is cognitive: the energy is substantially invisible and it is quite difficult having a correct idea of the amount needed for our everyday life - especially in western countries. The first cognitive trap is about «energy slaves». The concept of "energy slave", introduced by Richard Buckminster Fuller in the first part of the Forties, can be used to understand how lucky we are to live in a world energized by intrinsically cheap and abundant resources, much more powerful than human or animal power.

Abstract
One of the most important problems with energy is cognitive: the energy is substantially invisible and it is quite difficult having a correct idea of the amount needed for our everyday life - especially in western countries. The first cognitive trap is about «energy slaves». The concept of "energy slave", introduced by Richard Buckminster Fuller in the first part of the Forties, can be used to understand how lucky we are to live in a world energized by intrinsically cheap and abundant resources, much more powerful than human or animal power.File in questo prodotto:
