This paper reports on the most recent achievements obtained at CNR-ITAE on the co-electrolysis of H2O and CO2 with solid oxide electrolysers. The experiments carried out are addressed to the use of a coating layer on the cathode and to find proper operating conditions in order to affect positively the outlet gas value and the yield of methane. Therefore, in this manuscript are reported experimental results concerning the development of materials, electrochemical characterization of cells and analysis of effluent gas.

Abstract
This paper reports on the most recent achievements obtained at CNR-ITAE on the co-electrolysis of H2O and CO2 with solid oxide electrolysers. The experiments carried out are addressed to the use of a coating layer on the cathode and to find proper operating conditions in order to affect positively the outlet gas value and the yield of methane. Therefore, in this manuscript are reported experimental results concerning the development of materials, electrochemical characterization of cells and analysis of effluent gas.File in questo prodotto:
