A Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of a turbulent flow around a square cylinder is carried out at ReD = 4000, the body is completely immersed in the flow in order to reproduce a fully 3D case. Either the permeable Ffowcs-Williams and Hawkings and the Curle formulations are implemented as a post processing and tested for different microphones. The comparison between the two analogies allows a first analysis on the terms which are affecting the acoustic field.

Abstract
