The increase of the atmospheric CO2 concentration due to fossil fuels, the impacts of climate change connected with the enhanced levels of atmospheric CO2 concentration and the oil crisis, are only some issues that have renewed the interest on biofuels. There is a general debate on biofuels production and this contribution will try to examine some aspects about the agriculture production of species that will be use for biofuels production.

Abstract
