Developmental Coordination Disorders (DCD) can lead to difficulties in the development of perceptual-motor skills, as well as im- pairments in spatial, directional, body, and temporal awareness due to the lack of body control. The combination of context-aware and mul- timodal feedback in tools for DCD children can positively impact and assist the process of empowering their perceptual motor skills. Simple tasks such as object-finding or navigation supported with context-aware and multimodal feedback can guide the DCD children in accomplishing daily-life tasks and training different perceptual-motor skills, e.g., related to self-space and self-body perception, besides space orientation. This paper considers how to best design context-aware, multimodal tools for children with DCD, and how to assess them along different dimensions.

Abstract
This paper considers how to best design context-aware, multimodal tools for children with DCD, and how to assess them along different dimensions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
