The Adriatic Sea can be considered the most sampled sub-basin of the Mediterranean Sea, so it represents an optimal area where to assess effects of climate change on the water mass properties. Analyses of thermohaline properties in the whole Adriatic Sea over more than 100 years and on a monthly basis reveal recent climate changes observed in general also over the Mediterranean basin.

Abstract
The Adriatic Sea can be considered the most sampled sub-basin of the Mediterranean Sea, so it represents an optimal area where to assess effects of climate change on the water mass properties. Analyses of thermohaline properties in the whole Adriatic Sea over more than 100 years and on a monthly basis reveal recent climate changes observed in general also over the Mediterranean basin.File in questo prodotto:
