The scope of this document is to provide an evaluation of the expected performances of the SURPRISE demonstrator, on the basis of the specifications and final optical design described in D4.1 Specifically, this document includes: an evaluation of the overall diffraction efficiency of the DMD as a core element of the demonstrator's architecture, by taking into account the specifications of the optical design of the demonstrator given in [3]; an evaluation of the signal expected at the detector input for both the VIS-NIR and MWIR channels; for the latter channels in the MWIR, an estimate of the detector's output signal is also given. Finally, image simulations are presented together with the relevant CS reconstruction results and a brief description of the algorithms used.

Abstract
The scope of this document is to provide an evaluation of the expected performances of the SURPRISE demonstrator, on the basis of the specifications and final optical design described in D4.1 Specifically, this document includes: an evaluation of the overall diffraction efficiency of the DMD as a core element of the demonstrator's architecture, by taking into account the specifications of the optical design of the demonstrator given in [3]; an evaluation of the signal expected at the detector input for both the VIS-NIR and MWIR channels; for the latter channels in the MWIR, an estimate of the detector's output signal is also given. Finally, image simulations are presented together with the relevant CS reconstruction results and a brief description of the algorithms used.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
