Abstract

In recent years, hyperspectral imaging - a non-invasive diagnostic technique for the study of paintings for the purpose of documentation, study of materials and support for other analytical investigations - has undergone great development. Some of these systems can work remotely to analyze large murals even outdoors. Two case studies will be presented, made with two instruments having different acquisition mode and working spectral range.
