The objective of this study is to apply a multidisciplinary approach to analyse the relationships between the parameters in the continuum soil-plant-climate system and the obtained wine quality. A specific focus is directed towards the influence of water availability on the vine, must and finally wine, in order to relate climate, plant water status and oenological characteristics.
