Topografia e rilievo

This contribution illustrates the results obtained following a series of campaigns of topographic survey in the area surrounding the Roman municipium of Forum Novum. The territory explored is vast and complex due to the presence of numerous types of Roman structures. We present several case studies that investigate the diversity and peculiarity of this archaeological situation. The methodologies used for the survey are connected to the specific situations found in the Sabina tiberina region. These were also used in previous efforts dedicated to the study of these archaeological sites. The points of the topographic survey, after being imported into a GIS environment, were reclassified on a typological basis to create a georeferenced documentation of the topography of the area and the structures of archaeological interest.
