Abstract

The deterministic interpretation of last centuries' scientific achievements is discussed in the light of the recent intense debate about Quantum Mechanics and its results. If we consider the human perception of the arrouu of time, the unresolued dichotomy free will-intelligibility of nature seems to be closely related to the comprehension of the nature of time and its representation in physics.
