The NOX air pollution is of great concern today, especially in the modern, heavy trafficated and densely populated urban areas. The photocatalytic depolluting materials offer a possible mitigation technology, but for the development and commercialization of such products it is essential the availability of affidable activity measurement methods. The ITC-CNR laboratories have developed an advanced system for the measurement of photocatalytic NOX depollution in controlled conditions rapportables to those found in real applications, allowing the study and optimization of photocatalytic products a realistic experimental environment.
