Abstract
This paper discusses the integration of a stamping marking machine with a GNU/Linux-based platform for embedded real-time systems. The work, carried out in cooperation between a Small Medium Enterprise and a public research organisation, points out the possibility of adopting standard hardware and software technologies, and, in particular, free software, in the field of advanced industrial automation. Laboratory, and, in the final version of the paper, field trials, demonstrate the performance of the proposed system.File in questo prodotto:
