Second Report on User Requirements Identification and Analysis - FP7 i-Treasures Deliverable 2.3

This document D2.4 is the final report on system specification, which presents the system architecture, the functional, interoperability and technical specifications of the system's modules (Data Capture and Analysis, Data Fusion and Semantic Analysis, Educational Processes, Web Platform & 3D Visualization Sensorimotor Learning). In Section 2, a short introduction to this Deliverable is presented. In Section 3, the final i-Treasures system architecture and its main subsystems both on client and server side are described. In Section 4, the functional specifications for the capturing of data using the facial expressions analysis, upper body and hand/finger gesture recognition, EEG analysis and sound processing modules are presented. In addition, Section 4.2 describes the Data Fusion and Semantic Analysis module, which is responsible for the extraction of high level features from the multimedia content. Section 5 includes the Interoperability Specifications like RESTful Web Services and Metadata XML Schemas. Finally, Section 6 includes the technical specifications of the hardware and the external software of the system.
