The present report represents the output of Task IO4.6 “Findings and final report of FANTASIA application” and mainly aims at describing activities conducted and results obtained from the analysis of data collected in the context of task IO4.5 “Testing the FAnTASIA application”. As such, the document reports on the activities implemented to evaluate the impact of the FAnTASIA educational package in both formal (i.e., schools) and informal (e.g., home) educational settings, and on results obtained. More specifically, findings from the impact assessment are described to provide readers with preliminary evidence about: 1. the effectiveness of the FAnTASIA educational kit in promoting children’s acquisition of scientific concepts and skills, a positive attitude towards science learning, and engagement with educational activities, as assessed in school-based settings; 2. satisfaction with the FAnTASIA educational kit of users (children and adults) from both the formal and informal settings. Before activities of and results from the FAnTASIA impact assessment are described, the first section of this report, titled “Augmented Reality and innovative process for teaching and learning science”, provides a summary of the literature review conducted for the purposes of task IO4.1. The second section, “The web-based tool for collection of digital data: The FAnTASIA survey platform”, briefly describes the implementation of the web-based tool for data collection as it was planned in the context of task IO4.3. Finally, the last section, “Assessing the Impact of the FAnTASIA Educational Package”, includes the results of the impact assessment of the FAnTASIA educational toolkit.

Finally, the last section, “Assessing the Impact of the FAnTASIA Educational Package”, includes the results of the impact assessment of the FAnTASIA educational toolkit.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
