The i-Treasures project deals with ICH (Intangible Cultural Heritage) preservation and transmission; its primary aim is to develop an open and extendable platform to provide access to ICH resources, enable knowledge exchange between researchers and contribute to the transmission of the rare know-how from Living Human Treasures to apprentices. Overall, the main purpose of WP2 is to define the system and user requirements of the i-Treasures platform. The requirements definition process, which was extensively described in D2.1 [1], was based on a participatory approach, where experts, performers and users have been actively involved through surveys and interviews, in the complex tasks of identifying specificities of rare traditional know-how, discovering existing teaching and learning practices and finally identifying the most cutting edge technologies able to support innovative learning approaches to ICH. After the requirements and the subsequent specifications definition, the project has developed the first prototype of the i-Treasures platform (see D5.4) [2] , which was then evaluated under WP7. Taking in input the results of such evaluation (see D7.2) [3] , we have then revised and updated the original requirements. This document contains the description of the updating and revision process, as well as the outcome of such process, i.e. the new list of requirements for the i-Treasures platform. The updated requirements will be used later on to update also the system specifications (D2.3) and this will lead to the second release of the i-Treasures platform, which will be carried out in the next months. Overall, the new requirement list is more complete and exhaustive; some aspects of the platform that were still vague at the beginning of the project, are clearer now and as a consequence the related requirements are more precise and should better inform the specification phase. Main result of this work of analysis and revision, is the picture contained in the last sections of this document, regarding the status of development of the overall i- Treasures system after the first development cycle, as well as the overview of the level of effort still required for each of the module of the platform. Such picture should guide the work of the developers in the following stages. In particular, regarding the overall system, the situation is pretty good, as around 28% of the requirements are fully met, around 50% still need some kind of improvement, and another 23% requires still a significant effort. We consider the situation reasonable and balanced for this stage of the project. Regarding the single modules, the revision process indicates the "Data Fusion and Semantic Analysis", as well as the "Web Platform for Information, Education and Research" as still requiring a significant effort. The module related to the "ICH Capture and Analysis" is quite in a good situation, along with the module that has to do with the "Educational processes". Lastly, the "3D visualization module for Sensorimotor Leaning" is in intermediate situation, as a lot of effort is done, but some effort is still needed to extend the work done so far, to apply the developed functionalities to the missing sub-use cases. Of course, there are still possibilities of further improvement/ refinement, especially for those sub-use cases which so far have been only partially addressed by the project, and this will be done in the next months.
