The articlepresents a method based on a synergic and integratedbottom-up approach for both energy efficiency andseismic analysis for the refurbishment of buildings aturban scale. The method can be applied to the entireurban fabric without distinction of the intended use ofbuildings, representing a transition toward an organicurban planning and management. The model is appliedto a district of Bologna in order to identify the mostsuitable integrated refurbishment scenarios.
