The paper contributes to the field by describing the results of a systematic literature review conducted at the intersection between the Computer Supported Collaborative Learning research and the nurse and midwifery training fields, to deepen knowledge about the collaborative activities run online, their main characteristics, as well as the technologies adopted. The main aim is to identify future research areas to be further explored.
