The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into educational practices offers numerous opportunities to improve teaching, learning, and assessment. However, for these tools to be used effectively, it is critical to address the role of teachers, their professional development, and the misconceptions that may hinder the adoption of AI technologies. On these premises, the idea of creating a board game designed specifically for teachers emerged. AI-awareness, in fact, was designed not only to introduce various AI tools and discuss their potential applications in the classroom but also to help teachers overcome biases and challenges they may face in their educational practice. By improving their awareness of AI tools, teachers can better understand the transformative possibilities of Artificial Intelligence in education, ultimately promoting a more informed and innovative teaching approach.
